She did not eat this morning for the first time. She is a TUB! I do not see any outline of eggs, but she has very good fat stores, so would I necessarily?
She is also digging frantically at the corner of the tank on the hot side where there is no sand, but I constructed a fabulous big cave with several inches of damp sand at the OTHER end! Miss picky will have NOTHING to do with it. Will she change her mind as she gets closer or do I have to make another nest site where she is digging???
Donna, Ya think just because you made a great nest and fixed it all up NEAT , she will use it, hahahaa, NO WAY, She will lay them where she chooses , and that's THAT, she wins 
Sometimes they start digging in one place and go to several others before they choose that last and final place.
Just leave a few piles in the corners of damp sand or where you are seeing her digging the most. And as far as feelign the eggs, sometimes you can't they just feel full. The eggs are soft-ish right now so that they can all fit and so she can pass them, then they firm up when layed. Some females you can feel them or even see the oval shapes pertruding from their sides. Again they are all different.
