Need Advice For Terrarium Ventilation...

I'm building a 38" X2 0" X 19.5"(h) 1/2" plywood terrarium with a sliding glass door front. Would a 1 5/8" X 6 7/8" ventilation grill centered on each of the terrarium's sides be sufficient? The terrarium will house a corn snake...
