ID Help Everglades?

Hey all, got this in as a adoption snake and trying to verify if it is what we were told. I know especially with Glades rats that the exact nature of what they are is debatable to begin with, but I've never seen one with these black patches. Could it be one or not? Just looking for ideas with this one.

Thanks,
Eimon

What you have looks to be a royal diadem ratsnake (spalerosophis atriceps) They are more of a racer then true ratsnake. Check out this post on them linked below. Scroll to the last pic. Steve

good catch Steve,
I knew it wasn't an everglades but beyond that I had no idea.
Definitely looks like the atriceps.

didn't even think of diadem, and probably wouldn't of either. Was pretty sure it wasn't a Glades though.
