how old is he???
What did his previous owner feed him???
Did you check for mites, ticks, and RI?

How often have you been trying to offer feed?

I'm guessing its a hatchling.. I'd suggest moving it into a 12 or 28qt bin but add a hide box big enough for it to get into. Put the heat tape only under half the bin one side. Leave the snake completely alone for 2 days then offer a crawler rat to it alive just drop it in near the hidebox hole and step off turn the lights off in the room and leave alone for about a hour then check on it..... this method most always works for me... goodluck!

Feed after dark too...it helps. Put the live rat pup in and leave it alone for 2 hours. Check to see if eaten.

You may try taking a hopper mouse and leaving it in his cage over night. Please note only a hopper mouse or a weaner rat not an adult mouse or a rat that has been eating food for more then a week. These rodents are used to sucking mom for milk they should not hurt your snake. Also make sure your snake is not going into shed.

let us know when you get a bite!!!
