Here's the male I got in the other day. He was born at Ryan Richards place in Iquitos a few years back. My girlfriend keeps telling me that he is the ugliest boa she's ever seen. I love his pattern and he's got an almost blue base color thats hard to pick up with the camera.

You lady must be mad at you, you should take her out and spoil her tonight.

That is a very nice animal, nice dark saddles and I like the orange tail.

Thanks funny Joel, ever since it was getting close to me getting these in I've been saying stuff like "why don't you go get your hair and nails done" , "why don't you let me fold the laundry" , and "where do you want to go out to dinner to" She could come home and tell me that she crashed my car, and I would probably just say "oh, thats too bad", and keep staring at my new boas.

Still wants you to pay attention, my wife gave up.

I think that the more you stare at the boas the uglier she will say they are...it is psychological war fare at which we can not win Nick hehe.

My first wife despised the time and attention that the snakes "took" from her, I am so lucky that My lovely wife now supports me 100% and I think she is really liking this time of year because half the time I sleep in the basement and she gets the whole bed to herself haha!

I can't say that I've ever seen an ugly boa constrictor. I take that back I produced a few last year.

I like the fact that he was born in Iquitos, Peru. I would love to have a specimen like that one. Nick, have you realized that you can create a new gene pool (extensive genetic diversity) with that ugly male. I bet that he will show several variants of a particular trait once you pair him up with the right female. I would love to have some creatures out of that pairing. Congrats!!

I think that Boa is sweet,love the base color the blueish hue,and
those jet black tiny small sharp peaked saddles,sweet !!
