And one of my Male

Hello,
Very cool pics, thanks for sharing... The third pic down makes this lizards spots appear to be very pale, almost white. Is this so? Also loved the third pic "from the mouses prospective!" YIKES!!! Best to you- Mike

Yes Mike, the spots are usually white in contrast to the background color, esp' just after they shed. (Both my Ionidesi anyway)
Melissa- It does look like Brutus is after her, but it's just what he does when there's a camera nearby. Maybe 'cause, the hand that holds the cam, also held the mouse!?)

My Albigs spots are white also. Mine also still has a lot of greenish tint in the color pattern, does she?

My big Old Hissy has a blue undertone. The young male has an apricot undertone. Both are V.a.ionides with four big spots down the spine. Those spots and others are yellowish.
Both mine have a blueish tint to them. Can't say I've notice any green hue. My female has a lovely slate blue around her face, which I can't seem to get on camera.
Their spots are only white for a short while, just after they shed, then they seem to get more off white, as they get closer to the next shed.
I think Ionidesi are a very attractive 'ex'-subspecies of Albigularis
The last pic was of him trying to get in?
lizard looks great. how big is his cage?
