these 11 easterns are from 9-07

Actually one of these guys is from 06 I am pretty sure he is the 2nd turtle on the right side in the first photo. It really amazes me how some have grown a lot and others are still small. I wonder why that is.

Well hells bells, they're eating that stuff! I have yet to get 1 single bite of turtle food down any of my turtles!

They look good. Probably genetics mainly as far as why the different growth rate, just like I was never going to be a 6'4" professional football player no matter how much or the quality of the diet my mother fed me. Personality and social structure in the confined group of hatchlings probably also does plays a part in feeding habits, aggression, amount feeding I would guess as well though.

They really like it its the reptomin baby pellets. I soak it in water then they pretty much gobble it up.
