Nice Tony! Good to here.
I went out in Fairfax, Co. today. All we say
was a Black Racer, and a D.O.R. Spotted Salamander.
I'm gonna try and visit Howie, Memorial Day weekend.
Maybe we could all meet up for a beer and some Irish
food. Oh yeah!

Hey Tony D--where you B? I crack myself up. Where did you see the eastern? I found a fresh shed last week but have not gone herpin yet here in Maryland.

Joe, Tony lives just south of Virginia Beach, in North Carolina.
That area is the Mecca of high white Eastern Kings. Virginia Beach, Va., Chesapeake, Va., and Pasquotank Co., Nc. have some of the nicest Eastern Kings that I have seen. Some of the southern Ga. Kings have wider bands, but are not as clean on average.

If the weather is good next weekend I think I shall hit a couple of spots. You up for it?

I was coming back from E. City in NE NC. Not exactly sure of which county I was actually in as I was taking back roads but it was either Camden or Currituck.
