New to retics

I know that if i am going to buy a retic that is not a super dwarf, I need to be prepared for a giant snake. I really like tigers, but I heard they grow to be larger than most retics. I am wondering if it is possible to have an adult tiger male that is only 12' in lenth. I know there are alot of different factors that go into the snakes size. But lets say I only feed it girth size prey items once a week for the first year, and then start feeding everyother week . How large of a snake should I expect with that feeding scedual. The reason I am asking is because I am afraid I wont be able to provide a large enough cage. Has anyone kept snakes over 12' in 8'4' cages. sorry if thats too many questions for one post, but you can never ask too many when you are considering a new buy.

the two biggest factors in snake growth is genetics and feeding. i have two tigers, my male normal tiger just broke 12ft and is just now 2 years. my albino tiger male is just shy of 2 years and just barely hit 8 1/2ft. both were on the same prey size and same schedule, my normal male tiger just took off, i eventually got him on bigger prey items over the last 6-8 months because of his growth. but my albino hasnt grown near what my normal did, so he is still on smaller items. so my opinion is that genetics play a huge part. oh, and my male normal tiger came from a female (mom) that was 19.5ft and a male (dad) that was 17ft. both at 6yrs old. my albino tiger came from parents where the mom was just shy of 13ft and male just barely 11ft. both of them were 7yrs old.

I didn't want a 100% superdwarf either, so I got a 50% dwarf jampea 50% mainland tiger het albino. Also I got a 50% superdwarf/ 50% mainland het albino who's both of these parents were albino tigers. Hopefully they will prove out one day. I'm hoping my female tiger gets up to 12'-15'. My problem is storage of big frozen rabbits, and also my wife wouldn't like a 20 plus snake in the house. Wait till she see's how big this one gets he he.
