All three lizards come out when the light clicks on around 8, immediately want to bask, drink, and usually poop, and are ready to eat in about ten minutes. Then they alternate between basking, running around, pooping, and getting hungry again, with Lupe usually hitting one of the caves for an afternoon rest of maybe 45 minutes. Then, in about eight hours, they all go to bed while the lights are still on. When they were very new they would stay out and a couple of times got stuck in the dark by surprise, but once they knew where the good sleeping spots were they quit waiting. I would have expected at least 12 hours, with or without short naps, before they finally settled in for the night, but it's not happening. Thoughts?
