MY NEWEST BOA PROJECT

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Mar 30, 2009 02:55 PM

This is slightly off topic but at least their Boas. These are Dominican Red Mountain Boas. The scientific name is Epicrates s. striatus, thats right, the same species as a Haitian Boa but a LOT prettier. I'm looking forward to working with and breeding these GORGEOUS Boas...Thanks for looking...

Cool project, Tom. That certainly blows away any Haitian boa that I've ever seen!

Emerald tree boas!!!!!! How big do these guys get Tom?? How is their temperament?? Are they extremely rare??

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Mar 30, 2009 05:59 PM

This color morph is off the chart rare and their very tame. Not even related to an Emerald but related to Brazilian Rainbow Boas but MUCH prettier [I think, sorry D. C.]....

I haven't kept Haitians since the 80's, but now I want some of those!! I think the ones I had I got from you back when you were still in Bushnell! (I think it was Bushnell..I was only there once...and that was more than a few years ago, eh?)

Good luck with them, I hope you are very successful!
