Peruvian Blast Questions...

BrandonSander Mar 30, 2009 06:01 PM

I've been seeing all of these gorgeous Peruvian Blast photos being posted on the forum lately and I would love to know who you guys (and gals) are buying them from.

I live in Minnesota and since we really don't have reptile shows and very few breeders (I didn't forget you, Jeff R!) it is difficult to come by anything that a person wouldn't find in a pet store. I don't mind online purchases or shipping - about 90% of my collection has been bought online.

I never seem to see these offered in the classifieds (I can only assume it is because they sell themselves and/or the litters are "pre-sold" via waiting lists).

If anyone can give me the contact information or website of someone they know to be working with these beauties I would greatly appreciate it. If you feel uncomfortable posting this type of info on the forum, please, feel free to send me a message.

Thanks everyone!

P.S. Of all of the forums I've been a part of over the past decade or so, this one specifically is my favorite. I don't post often (more so in the ball python forum) but I read nearly every post every day and I can't recall the last time anyone had a negative comment regarding anything posted by anyone else. You all are some of the most welcoming, helpful and friendly folks I've "met" online. Thanks again for that!

They are one of the nicest lines I have seen and the parents that Matt Blast has are truly gorgeous...very golden.

I guess I was unaware that "Blast" signified a certain line of animals, I assumed it was a genetic trait. Thanks again for the information, Joel.

Besides Jeff Ronne, who has some nice Peruvians, there is Kevin Walters in Iowa who has some nice ones, possibly with litters due. I'll send him the link to your post. Mark Hauge, St. Cloud, Mn.

Thanks, Whitney, you even found local breeders for me! Any chance you could PM me their contact info?

Do you also live in (or around) Minnesota? I'm located about 1/2 hour from Mankato right in the middle of the southern half of the state.
