Here's a pic of my Malayan baby boxie- Charlene. She loves to eat Romaine lettuce, water convovulus, aquatic plants, papaya, turtle sticks and boiled squid and prawns.

that one of those morning glories right? (Ipomea sp)? they used to call it water spinach...where do you buy it?
Yes, ipomoea aquatica! Called "water spinach" but not at all from the spinach family- so no problems re: feeding it to turtles. I get it from the supermarket or wet market.
Yeah there are hundreds of morning glory relatives which are good for all sorts of things and many are highly nutritious for people too.
Yes clearly not spinach so no worries of oxalates but forgive my ignorance, what is a "wet market"?
Wet markets are found in Asia- they are pretty dirty, smelly and wet (think- very slippery floor!).... but the food there is freshest, the variety is staggering and it's also cheaper than supermarkets/hypermarkets
