Hi guys,
I recieved a ball python, but do not exactly know of its age. I thought I might ask you guys. It a male, he is 510 grams and about 30 inches (give or take). He is completely healthy, not under/over weight. I thought he was an adult, but I came to realize that adults are 1000 grams . I figured he was about a 2001? Any opinions? Thanks
I ment 100 grams plus plus plus. Not JUST 1000. 
i don't know of any way to accurately determine the age of a BP with that kind of info. It could reach that size in 14 months or 4 years depending on what it has been eating and how often it has been eating. 2001 is accurate for the normal feeding schedule, but the person could have power fed or maintenance fed it, in which cases the age would be way off of 2001.
