Constrictor laws

Hey everyone i would like some of your opinions on this. In my city they have an ordinance against constrictors mainly burmese and reticulated because they do not consider them domesticated species. What do you all think on this, do you consider them domesticated and why. I have been doing research on what makes a species domesticated and they meet all the requirements other than they're aggressive disposition (naturally) not that they are aggressive. I just want to get an ordinance passed and would like some help here. Maybe some good sources where i can find some things out.

Thanks everyone

My understanding is that snakes are generally not considered domesticated by any regulatory agency. Restrictions may come into play based on average adult size, non-native species, or recent media hype.
