Hi,Do you have to wait for the female to shed before putting them together?My female mbk shed in January while being cooled,and I was wondering if I can put them together or if I should wait till she sheds.Thanks for any replies.

Put them together and see what happens. I've noticed that when you introduce them and they are not ready they will soon after go into shed and than they will be ready.

Thanks,I tried last night and she was ready but I didn't see them hook-up.She would raise her tail and he would wrap around her but was off his mark a little.My other pair of kings hooked up for a little over two hours again.I will keep trying and hopefully he will figure out what to do with her.Thanks again.

If she is lifting, let him have enough time to get it right, he won't eat her, he's horny, if she is well fed, she won't eat him, and if she's lifting, she's ready NOW! Let them go for the gold!

I left them together for about two hours.She would lift and he would wrap around her but no hook up.I'm going to try again tomorrow after I feed them.Thanks
