I just read through your Triangulum of Texas post in field observations. That was an outstanding post. Have you seen the weird animal that Mike P. has? It was wild caught in Val Verde. It looks to be a natural cross between Triangulum and Alterna.

Hope all is well.

Best Wishes,

Steven X

I've heard of suspected natural alternaXtriangulum hybrids being found, but as far as I'm aware, all have been found to be aberrant members of one species or the other. It's hard to rule out the possibility of such an happening, though, since the two species are so closely allied.

Regardless, Nate's post was glorious.
