I was eating some fried chicken while watching TV tonight, and my female cat stole a bone off of my plate. I found that pretty unusual for a cat. She was absolutely freaking out when I tried to get it back, hissing, and growling like a dog protecting it's food. Regardless, I got it back from her and she returned to her sweet self. I adopted her from the SPCA, she was caught as a stray. I guess she was used to picking things out of the trash. I just found this amusing.. i'm bored, sorry.

lol, I got my cat from the pound. He would actually knock down the kitchen trash can and rummage through it during the first week that I had him. Those animals that have to make it on their own are really resourceful.

But I think your cat just wanted some chicken. I had a cat steal a chicken wing off my bowl one time when I wasn't looking. She looked ready to fight to keep it, too.

If you make a chili dog at my parent's house, make sure you don't leave it on the table when you go get a drink. That little sucker will jump right on your chair, put his front paws on the table and start going to town.

Holly and I just got a little Chihuahua whose favortite food seems to be HEB Jalapeno Chips, I guess being mexican that makes sense, lol.

Animals.... gotta love um.

Ball Pythons, Red Striped Leos, W.Hognose and Screaming AFT's

I have an Akita/German Shepard mix. She will honstly eat everything you offer her. She will eat veggies and all. She gets upset if I give her peanut butter though. My dog will sit there very patiently thinking she will get food if the cute approach doesnt work she goes to guard dog mode where she barks thinking she is protecting the house and that she deserves a treat.... fianlly if that dont work she begins to limp for a sympathy approach. What can I say my dog is as spoiled as my leos.

We've had dogs almost all of our lives and i have come to expect that they will eat everything. My dog (papillion) used to beg all the time until my dad taught him a lesson hehehe. My dad is into HOT stuff.....and purchased some HOT popcorn.....Chip begged and begged so my dad threw him one. Chip doesn't beg (at least at my dad) anymore hehehe. Oh and he's a jealous mutt!!! Last night i had the family in my room looking at all of the geckos and wouldn't you know it.....Chip barked non stop, jumped up on to our laps.....he did everything he could to get our attention away from the geckos......the same goes for when we were all focused on my dads fish tanks and the 100 or so babies from his guppies that we were trying to catch LOL. I love him but this dog can tire a person out for the day in 5 minutes. Unless you have alot of time, energy and LOVE to vaccum i don't recommend a papillion LOL

Glad to hear that I don't have the only crackheaded animal in this forum. She is also really big on doritos, and my Iguana used to have a taste for pasta. You couldn't leave a plate of food in the same room with her alone, it was amusing, but annoying. Man did she have an appetite!

We have a little Jack Russell terrorist LOL! He gets really jealous when i'm doing something with all my other pets and not him lol. He even gets jealous when i'm changing the substrate. These dogs will walk (mostly run though) 5 miles and then ask why we didn't go on a walk lol! I luv him though. We got him from the pound also. Katie

She'll eat ANYTHING you offer as well. One time she got into my sisters hamster treats and ate them all. Luckily she didnt get sick. We got her from an abusive home. They used to throw her down stairs and hit her, so now if we roll up a newpaper she gets really scared. She was also REALLY thin when we got her, now shes kinda chunky. Nice to see some dog lovers in here. She also gets really jealous when i have one of the geckos out, even if shes getting attention at the time, she wont stand for anything else getting any type of attention, lol, its funny but annoying sometimes.
