you put 3 males and three female together to breed, different morphs. don't they breed like this in the wild? would 2 or 3 different morphs. would there be any agression?
thanks, it's just a thought.

sometimes the males will spend too much time chasing each other...intimidation......fighting...depends on the males...

I used to put one BIG male with 5 females....but as he would breed the same female too often....after a bunch of breedings to one female I would take her out and make him find a new girl to spend more time with...I would alternate 1 on 1 to 1 with 5....just kept switching them up all winter long...

I did put 2 BIG males together...but found out the one was actually fighting and biting the other...and they were both OVER 5 footers......one just liked the girls too much and fought with his buddy......

I now use 1 to 1 in a rack......switch up males all the time...I have used 2 or 3 males in the same week....with colubrids I have used 3 males in the same half day...but they breed for 10 minutes (corn) and balls breed for 9 hours....or so or so...

.....keep it one on one..>..easier.....all around......

Really? They will actually bite eachother? Balls? HUH! I have seen them thrash eachother before, but I never seen them bite eachother....wow.

only saw it with the one male...didn't really put males together after that though for comparisons...
they were both normals, both older then 5, both over 5 foot and huge, ....they both produced hundreds of babies....and yes the one would bite the other...

I would find scales all over the melamine cage...2 x 3 x 18 inches......scales sticking to everything....didn't know why ???....one day I saw the bigger male looking at the middle of the other guy and watching him move...following him while tongue flicking him, tasting, making sure he was male probably...(3 girls in with them at least)....and then he'd grab and bite , hold for 2 seconds, release, follow then bite again...he kept doing this.....took one male out and wouldn't place them together again after that.....
