Who Said Guys Can't Wear Lipstick

fgs Apr 03, 2009 07:15 AM

A few months ago I received this guy in a trade from Mike Panichi. I had never heard of Mike until I found myself wanting to trade one of my Hypo Motleys for a male Lipstick Sunglow.

The trade went without a glitch, and working with Mike was a real pleasure.

I can't wait until I mix this guy into my Matt Crabe Red Line Albinos and my Sunglow Motley project.

I hope everyone is having a great seaon.

He looks great!!! Here is your girl. She is one of the most colorful snakes I have laid eyes on and the photos can't do even show most of it. She has rainbows for sides! Thanks again Brian. Mike Panichi

Mike:

I couldn't be happier with the way the hypo motley is looking.

You're right even as nice as she looks on the forum we both know how much more color she really has.

Good luck with her and I hope she proves out het albino.

Say what they want about lipstick sunglows. Your paradox litter is one of the most quality consisitant litters I've seen. I'm very proud to have one of them. For me it's all about quality. Your 08 paradox lipstick litter screams quality.

Best of luck with your 09 season.

I'm very lucky for two reasons. First reason is because the male sunglow is a beautiful animal and I just love looking at him. The second reason is because this trade gave me an opportunity to meet Mike Panichi. He's one of the many good guys I have met through this community.

I hope this is your best season.

Amazing looking snake Brian! I love the tail and overall saturation of peach and orange. Great addition to your projects!

With all the debate on lipsticks. I think now some of the novice collectors can see how well they stay in color compared to other kahl sunglows as they mature.

I am not sure if I would of let go those smoking motleys for a sunglow though. lol

Great snakes guys!

comment to the novice breeder about the quality of the lipstick sunglow line. The parents of my sunglow were purchased by Mike Panichi directly from Tom Burke's best breeders. The litter that my male came from is about as close as you can get (in my opinion) to one of the best lines of Sunglows in existance.

My initial goal was to sell one out of the 2.3 hypo motleys I produced in 08. Then take the money from that sale and purchase a male lipstick. I had the female hypo motley that Mike Panichi ended up with on Kingsnake for about a month. It was the lowest priced hypo motley on Kingsnake at the time. After 1367 hits without any interest I decided to try and trade it.

We both ended up with what we wanted and are very happy with the trade.

I hope you're having a great season.

He's looking good and will be awesome to plug into your sunglow motley project, especially if he proves out to be a super!

fgs Apr 04, 2009 10:59 PM

Shane:

Thanks for your comment.

This is not the first time you have mentioned the possibilty of this sunglow being a super. What do you see in this sunglow that makes you think that, just curious......
