years ago they had the largest greybanded I ever saw....I forget how large and don't want to say 5 foot or this thick...but it was like a monster.......is it still there?...I didn't see it a couple years ago....but the place bores me usually....especially when it's 95 degrees outside.....

that snake came from one of john groves' sources.....they would breed without burmation....lay the eggs in the plants...and the attendants would find the hatchlings crawling around the enclosure!!!!!

The guy at the philly zoo I talked to about that enclosure was an assistant curator of reptiles there about 6 years ago. I don't remember his name. I'd guess he was in his 30s, was stocky, and had a shaved head. He gave my wife and I a tour of the off display holding. I could have sworn he said he collected some of the snakes in that alterna enclosure.
