TPR help

jack77 Apr 04, 2009 01:49 PM

my 3 year old TPR female regurged this morning. She has never done that before. After closer inpection I noticed a discrete swelling about 2 inched up from her cloaca. The swelling is about 2 inches in length and upon palpation there are 2 distict hard masses that feel smooth and round like possible eggs. She shows no sign of pain and I have never housed her with a male. She is otherwise healthy. She has had normal bowel movements recently. What could this be? I am thinking possible obstruction. What should I do next?

Vet trip...that's the best way to get an accurate answer on 'what to do next'. Definitely does not sound like you have any eggs. Suboc usually don't even start ovulating until June.

If you don't already have a good herp vet, go to arav.org, and look for a herp vet by clicking on which state you live in...with any luck, there's one or more close by.

Good luck.
