Ovulation..

I'm looking forward to this clutch of a Red striped Blood female x with our lavender albino male Red Blood. The last time we hatched 100% hets from this female with the same male, the babies came out with no red and as subadults they are all yellow without a single red scale-all of them! I let her rest a year and am making the cross again so I can really see for myself how you can breed a yellow snake with a red snake and get all yellow babies! The first group is a really beautiful and vibrant yellow, and are great looking snakes on their own. Hopefully next year those first het animals will be ready to produce our first lavender albinos.

Lavender albino-he is one of my favorite snakes and I'm dreaming about getting babies like him.

Here is a year old snake-none of the 100% het babies from the pairing of the red striped female x lavender albino male had any red on them and they really all looked identical. Will this happen again?

Is that a form of the original T strain or a new strain? That is a SMOKING HOT Albino!

Looks like maybe you have a dominant anerytheristic mutation, or a locality type which has a dominant mutation where the xanthophores are hyper active and create an increased yellow?

INTERESTING STUFF!

Take care,
Jordan

Very neat stuff. I am fascinated with the result of the breedings.
