Unless I'm wrong here...that looks like a Miami Phase and a Bloodred.
If that's the case, then the first generation will be outcrossed bloodreds. Basically normals that usually have a bit higher red contrast on them and many of them will be missing a stripe of pattern right down the middle of their belly. Many will also show some diffusion on their sides.
They should look something like these:

I have been breeding my blooder female to a different male every year starting two generation projects to make peppers, avalanches, sulphurs, etc. The ones I hatched in '06 will hopefully breed this year, I bred her to a normal male that year. In '07 I bred her to a snow, and in '08 I bred her to a butter mot. With each different male, the first generation offspring came out a bit different from the others.
If you hold back a couple of babies for a second generation you'll have a 1 in 4 shot at producing bloodreds. I don't know what effect, if any the miami phase will have on that.
I am more intrested to see what shows up in the f1's.. I doubt there would be much of a difference in the blood side generations down the road..As yes, your right, the blood influence generally over powers other factors..
Heck , worse comes to worse, I made a whole clutch of whole sale animals.. BTDT with some fantastic genes..

Hello,
Do you produce Miamis like that??
Adam
I didn't produce the Miami.. I bought him as a hatchling, from a So Cal breeder that liquidated his collection about 2 yrs ago..
