Gravid White Tank???Will? Eve?

Rosebuds Apr 05, 2009 11:18 AM

One of my WT fems sure looks and acts gravid. She has gained weight, and I can almost see the outline of eggs toward the bottom of her abdomen. She is also acting slightly frantic. But there is NO SIGN of blush, pink or red streaking, red spots, nothing. NO red!

Do WT fems develop the blush before and during egg production??

Now that I took a pic, I see the faintest pink in places, but that is just now showing. Should I prep the tank now? The one that I suspect is on the bottom

Here is the other WT fem on top

a tiny amount, some look as though someone spray painted orange streaks, or stripes on them. She is probably ovulating and will continue to orange up, in the next days or so.

They are in a Temporary tank until we stop having cold nights. I hope I can get them into their regular viv before they start making eggs.

She should get gravid bars if she is gravid. Has she been with a male?

The Sonoran male. lol

So far, neither girl is showing like my gravid easterns, so hopefully, I have time to get them into a different setup and get a nest area prepared.
