Heart rate monitor

SoCal-619 Apr 05, 2009 07:43 PM

So today I had an albino female drop prematurely. The thing is I never knew she was gravid so she was still eating like normal. She got a jumbo rat on Friday and delivered early this morning. She was courted for a short time but never showed any of the signs I've come to recognize over the years. I've been wanting to look into using a heart monitor as some others on this forum have used. I thnik it may have helped in realizing that she was actually gravid. My question is to those using them, what model are you guys using and where did you find them? Also any tips when trying to listen for those little heartbeats would be great. Thanks!

Look on ebay for "Sonotrax Fetal Doppler from Stork Radio" these work great. Linda, the lady that figured this whole doppler thing out recommended it to me and it's awesome.

I would stay away from "Taiyi" or "Faiyi" IMHO.

Good luck!
