not sure what to do...please help..

last night a little boy gave me a frog he found.I'm guessing it's a tree frog because of the way it's climbing all over the place and suctioning to the sides of the container it's in..it's greyish in color with big bulging black eyes and about as big as a quarter.Until it stretches out its legs of course.
The problem is,i dont know what to do with it.Should i take it to a park with a pond and let it go?Should i take it to a pet store and let them take care of it?I wouldnt mind keeping it,as long as i knew exactly what kind of habitat it needs and what to feed it.Please if anyone has any feedback, dont hesitate..any suggestions are welcome..Thanks in advance.

Where are you locatd? That would help others here ID the frog for you and give you proper care instructions.

The appropriate thing to do would be to find out where the frog was found and return it exactly where it was found. Of course, if you are seriously interested in keeping frogs as pets, it would be better to do research on the issue and decide what frog is best for you..

Here is a link of all the amphibians in Georgia. Look through the frogs and see if you can ID it then do an internet search on that species. You should be able to find care info on it.

If this is your first time caring for a frog, I agree that you should releace this one to where it came from then do the research to find a species that would work for you. If you want to keep this one, make sure to read up on it and do you best to provide it with the best of care.
