A long time ago I used this pair of less than lethal rubber snakes to educate my family in the proper holding techniques of snakes. It worked quiet well as a training aid prior to allowing my daughter handing any of my reptiles. Now she has her own snakes.

After holding these training aids and talking about snake movement I removed a healthy Brooks King and allowed it to move from my hands to hers.

This little reinforcement training helped me dispel a fear of touching snakes that I believe would have never happened without rubber Snakes.

Note: I do not intent on breeding this pair as I am afraid it may produce a Brattler.

Haha...brattler. Good times...Good idea. Sounds raitonal, but it might be a little better to use an educational "rubber" snake that doesn't look like coral :-p. I can see it now "Wow this snake looks like the rubber one I held" and someone ends up in the hospitol (there are people that stupid out there!). Good idea though! Andy

Your right there are people out there that pick up snakes without a clue.

I purchased the rubber coral (Doesn’t do much) because I have been reduce to non-venomous only (after Marriage). Always wanted one to study. I have heard they can be difficult feeders. By the way saw your cantil, beautiful.

My cantil????? LOL I wish I had a cantil. Must have been someone else! Take it easy and sorry about your loss (Not having venomous has to be a bummer dude). Andy
