Petro enclosure

pek296 Apr 07, 2009 02:28 AM

Just wanted to share a few pictures of my banded rock enclosure. I'm in the thinking process of building a bigger enclosure with rocks and all, but who knows if I'll ever start it, with the herping season starting and all. cheers!

That looks like a large enclosure with rocks and all to me!

What kind of enclosure is that? Did you build it yourself? Is it stackable?

Thanks... The enclosure is a 30 gal glass breeder. I modified the front to sliding glass doors and fixed a top screen. It didn't come with one. Everything in the tank is fake, but the Petros and dirt gravel. The tank is not stackable unto one another. However, I have three large melamine enclosures stacked-up on a heavy duty wire shelve.

Hi Oz,
Nice setup. Ours is similar, but we used a 40 gallon "breeder" tank. Our pair of mearnsi are always hiding on the back surface of the granite flakes. Such nervous lizards!

WOW! Ours is very similar. For a second I thought I was looking at my enclosure, LOL. Nice work there!
KIT.
