Offwhite color slime spot on eggs?

Stingraydragons Apr 07, 2009 05:10 PM

What is this on the eggs? Its a puss colored circle on the eggs. I have the eggs sitting in virmiculite in a closed tupperware container sitting in my incubator at 81 degrees. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

Without a pic its difficult to tell. Sounds like your egg is starting to rot. How far along into incubation are they?

My best advice to you is to leave the egg incubating until you know 100% that the egg is dead. I have a mouldy egg right now that is about 55 days into incubation but is still plump and the baby dragon is still alive and kicking inside. Don't count your eggs out unless you are absolutely certain that they are not viable.
