Super Jungle Het. Albino X Sunglow

grooter2 Apr 07, 2009 05:56 PM

What would the percentages be breeding a Male Sunglow to a Female Super Jungle Het. Albino?

Is it worth spending the extra money on a Super Jungle Het. Albino if you are breeding it to a Sunglow or just find a really nice Jungle Het. Albino for cheaper. I think getting the super might pay off in the end but what do you guys think?

Thanks

All the babies will be jungles, some jungles het albino, some hypo jungles het sunglow, some albino jungles and some sunglow jungles in a litter of 20 there should be 5 of each.
The best part about using a super jungle besides the obvious of getting all jungles is you don't have to worry about possibles.

Technically speaking we don't know the outcome since no body has produced from a super jungle yet! It's strongly believed though that what's called a super jungle will be the homozygous dominant form of the mutation. In that case when you breed it to a sunglow you would statistically get what jersery serpent said!

25% Sunglow Jungle
25% Albino Jungle
25% Hypo Jungle Het Albino
25% Jungle Het Albino

We should find out this year if the super jungle is in deed a dominant mutation! I personally would be surprised if it wasn't, but stranger things have happened!
