i have a pilbara rock monitor who when i got him was missing all of his front toes. it doesnt seem to disturb him too much with everyday life, he seems to have no problems getting around. i was wondering if i could possibly use the same substrate mixture i use for my ackies for him, or if it might damage the hands missing the toes? thanks in advance. also on a side note, im looking to get into storrs monitors, and was wondering if anyone was working with them at this time?

I had a female ackie with no front toes. She would still do everything an ackie does in moderation. She would dig and try to climb. as long as the dirt was not too dry or packed she did very well with no toes. I never saw a problem.
