junior has a little brother now...

...he's a siamese kitten who was born on january 13. my initial plan was to adopt an older cat, but we decided that if a kitten grew up around junior, it'd be less likely to be a problem.

they're curious about each other, and follow each other around sometimes. he's even licked her head a few times, but never used tooth or claw against her (we closely supervise their interactions), and lays down next to her sometimes. pretty cute.

it's also been interesting to see her curious and stimulated about something new. pic below: we had her in the bathroom cleaning her up, and she followed her nose. he took it really well.

Oh man. My wife and I had a Siamese cat when we first got married. He was a panic! They are great cats but quite needy and ours demanded attention all the time. He jumped up on the kitchen counter and started screaming at us one time when we brought some shrimp home for dinner. I made the mistake of giving him one. From that moment on, he considered all future shrimp to be his personal property.
I would be interested in seeing how your gets along with your RF down the road.

hilarious! i know exactly what you mean -- while i was growing up, my family had three different siamese, so i'm a big fan of the breed and its quirks. this little guy is definitely a trip so far.

My 22 month old Sulcata (T.U.T.) shares her indoor enclosure with my cat. I can not seem to keep my cat out, nor can I keep her from eating T.U.T.'s hay. The funniest thing I have seen these two do? One evening I found T.U.T. basking under one of her lights, my cat was curled up under another. It was definantly a sight and I wish I had had my camera.
