HR669..........attention NRA members

BrianPotter Apr 08, 2009 11:35 AM

Brian Potter here. I am a member of the NRA.....if this Bill was to pass it would end all game ranch hunts. I called the NRA and they are looking at this Bill already. They had no styance as of yesterday.....but assured me they are "looking" at it. PLEASE call the NRA (if you are a member) and tell them you want them to STOP HR669. These are the BIG GUNS we need to align ourselves with! If you need more info please call me directly at 708-932-8044.

Thanks,

Brian

GRATE THINKING!I hope they get on board with us.Along with the hunt club owners themselfs. What are some Mammel org.that could be impacted by this.Who are some rich and famous private animal keeping people that might want to join our fight.Football/baseball players.Chad Brown comes to mind.I dont know about most Hollywood people, but Nicolis Cage was seen at the Daytona Expo one year, deli cups in hand.Thats good "out of the box" thinking Brian. I would like to know how they plan to manage and enforce this bill if it passes. "PANDORA'S BOX" will become a reality. Perhaps we should deliver all our herps to the steps of congress since it then would be their responsibility...

Tom,That would be grate. The million herp march. You could lead the pack with 16 ft.foot face grabbing Retic.Seriously I hope everyone writes/calls talks to their local Herp clubs, pet stores, Vets, etc. It will ruin many lives.Reptiles have inspired many people to accomplish many things.I feel so helpless to do anything that will change their mind.So many of both Party's going along with it.So over reaching,so very depressing.Vic

Imagine all the pythons in limbo, hope every one don't make the trip to the everglades. Imagine the possible exodus!!!

I have tried to contact several of the big chain pet stores such as PETSMART and JACKS AQUARIUM about this issue, but so far I have not received any response from them. Maybe if others do the same we can get them on board.

It`s important for ALL pet owners to unite over this proposed ban. We need the bird people and the fish people etc to come together. As crazy as this bill sounds to us... there are 13 elected congressmen who feel strong enough about this to push it.
Please don`t take these people lightly. We need to fight back full force ! Mark
