so i read to many boxes for lights and am getting so confused is a house hold fluorescent light bulb the same as a "Reptile basking fluorescent light bulb" i would think so but i cant find any comparisons to prove my thoughts

florescent lighting does not put out much heat, you want incandescent light bulbs for heating cages. you can use house hold incandescent light bulbs for heat and daytime lighting.
