One egg from a crested

rcwee Apr 09, 2009 03:43 PM

I recently put a new male with one of my proven females. She is healthy, eating, and has a good weight. The other day I found an egg in her lay box but I could not find another. She has always had clutches of two like normal. Is this a sign of a problem? What, if anything should I do?

Males have been known to eat eggs, never heard or had any my females lay one egg. Good luck
