Been a while...

...so I figured I'd check on others' breeding progress this season.
Mine has been a bit later than usual with the weather giving me so many ups and downs...(it was 45F here Tues night)
Anyway, here's two that seem to have cooperated with their mates earlier

looking gravid

Other moles, notably my FL group have bee at it fairly steadily and I hope to have a bunch of the li'l ones this summer to care for.
South FL moles are locked up as I type this so I'm pretty happy about that as well.

So how's the season shaping up for you guys?

My breeding season is very late this year also. Only my younger 2 year old animalas have been breeding and are gravid. My older larger Florida kings are just now getting opaque.

The cool one is a male Pewter Florida king.

I've had my stuff up since March 1st, and it only just now looks like everything is getting interested.

I had a few early Florida king breedings. Two females from that group are looking nice and gravid. One is going into pre-lay shed
right now.

I had my first Pinellas king breeding a couple days ago. My best male to a Krysko-line female.

I'm hoping some of my other projects start breeding soon. My Levy county male is very interested, but the female not so much...

Hey Mark, good to hear from you! Very nice moles! I will be attempting those goini and hypo floridana from you next year, the thayeri have bred, pair of cal kings bred, male is now on loan, both pairs of my locale Hebbronville and Nueces county splendidas have bred, one set of Calhoun/Refugio county specks have bred, my Mexican bairdi have bred, one pair of emoryi rats are breeding now, my locale Jim Wells county bulls are going at it now, and my Brewster county gophers are together but no action yet. I will be putting the subocs together later this year. Next year everything goes, lol!
