Seperating egss

Jam57 Apr 09, 2009 06:40 PM

My incubator finally came after 1 week. The female has been coiled around the eggs up until now. Today I got the incubator set up and uncoiled her. The eggs are pretty dry and stuck together. I put the ball of eggs together in Hatchrite subtrate and put them in the incubator. Should I just leave them as a ball of eggs or do I need to seperate them. I am afraid if I seperate them now I will tear them. What should I do? --Jamie

They can be pulled apart, but very slowly. I've never had one tear.

Sometimes egg space in a container is an issue in certain incubators. Separate gently, if you must.
