In January 2006, my husband I bought our first snake that wasn't a ball. We were told he was a jungle carpet x diamond python. He was right under two feet long when we bought him. Since then, he's changed his colors a few times, he was very bright as a youngster, and now he's a very dull color, even right after shed. He's now around five and a half feet long. So, my questions are, why is he dull colored? Is it an adult thing? Second, how large can we expect a jungle carpet x diamond to get? Weight wise, length? We've read about jungles, then about diamonds and figured we just needed to put the two together when it came to their size. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
