VERY STOKED:OT THOUGH

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Apr 13, 2009 08:26 AM

I have always felt it would be much easier to breed snakes that are difficult if you could keep them outside all year. I'm experimenting with a number of species and one was Diamond Pythons which are known to be difficult if they are 100% pure. Well on my first time trying I woke up to this today. I moved her inside for egg deposition 2 days ago. Looks like between 12-15 viable with one slug but man am I stoked..Thanks for looking

I have heard they are somewhat difficult/tricky to breed, but man... are they gorgeous! That is great news, congrats! They look good too!

Given the rapid growth of the hobby and the "instant gratification" in the air these days, I think it takes an old-timer to truly appreciate the accomplishment of successfully breeding 100% pure Diamonds ... not to mention one of the most georgous snakes around.
