09 Red Albinos Post Shed

mdc Apr 13, 2009 09:45 AM

These were produced from a high contrast stripeline albino female that I produced in 2005 and a het red albino I produced in 2006. He is the son of the female that recently passed. It looks like 5 albinos from this small litter are going to make it. They have all shed and look to be doing well. All pics taken indoors with flash. I'll get some outdoor pics as a soon as I can.

Pic of parents breeding:

Male 1: High contrast. He finally passed his yolk belly last night, so it looks like he is good to go.

Male 2:

Male 3:

Female 1:

Female 2:

Congrats Matt, hopefully they all stay healthy. The one in the first pic has some really red markings on him. I would say better then some Sunglows. If you dont hold that one back, I got dibs LoL

Hey Matt they look great and glad to hear they all seem to be doing better. That male #1 is amazing, lovely contrast on the head and those big white rings around the deep tail saddles... veerrrry nice. Female #2 is another stand out to me but of course they are all nice.

Absolutely Killer! Male #2 and Female #1 are my favorites!!!

Nothing beats a great albino!!! It’s the quintessential mutation that attracted most of us to boas/mutations in the first place!

You know you're doing it right when your albinos nearly look like sunglows! Nice Matt, Dan
