Why isn't there any news about the impending hearing on HR669 this month being announced on this forum. We as retic owners are in more danger than most of getting our beloved snakes banned. Someone posted about it a few days ago, & then the post just disappeared.
The Ball Python forum has a link @ the top of the page to the forum discussing this topic. Why isn't there the same thing on the retic forum?
There is a hearing on the 23rd of this month to decide the outcome of this bill. NOW is the time to act!!! If not, we WILL lose our rights!

What he means is it is not located where kingsnake has...

"Chat month Transcripts - PHFaust"....on the Ball Forum it's there in plain sight.

I did not even notice it at the top of the page until to you mentioned it on the Boa Forum.

I come here to read the forums and pay little attention to those banners. I bet most people didn't notice it was there.

There are also many Colubrids not native to the US and many of those herpers may think it's just the Python and Boa peoples problem.

Here is another idea that will help. I am attaching a post from another site that I use. I personally have already got 25 people from my job to sign and address these 22 letters each to be sent to this guy. All you have to do is go to the link, print the 22 letters, address them each then place each in an individually addressed envelope. Then place all of this in a large manila envelope and send to the address below. He will hand deliver them so that they get there in time. Imagine the statement this will make when they have stacks of these letters on their desks from people like you and me. Here is the link.

Dead line is April 21st. If you mail any out Monday it must be overnighted to him.

The guys at work that signed and addressed these for me don't even like reptiles so if they are willing to do this then everyone on here and their friends should be willing. It doesn't cost that much to do your part. Please do what you can. I don't sell or breed reptiles but I do own several and love them very much. Thanks for your time and I hope you try this with me.
