I have a croc monitor that is about 1.5 years old and his Snout to Vent is about 24". His total length is over 5'. Under the proper husbandry conditions, how long from Snout to Vent can a Croc monitor get? How long are your Croc Monitors?

Thank you for your help!

Prepare yourself for a beast! They can reach up to 9 ft and more!

I don't have one, but I've seen a few.

Expect around 7ft or so. Ive heard of 9ft examples but never saw even a picture of one beyond 8.5ft estimated. Most adults Ive known of grow to around 7ft. Just like the old explorer tales of 50-100ft snakes found by Brittish explorers, the actual people who say they measured them, or the people who caught them, witnessed them, either never really existed, or mysteriously cannot provide proof of ever seeing one in person, or witnesses.
Keep us posted about it, and post lots of pics.
