RES in local lake

I was wondering what the chances of a RES living in a lake in Minneapolis, Minnesota are....

I noticed him while I was working but I couldn't reach him....I am 100% positive it is a red eared slider....

Any quick responses would be appreciated.

Most likely was a slider. They are pretty cold tolerant turtles and very adaptable. They are EVERYWHERE!!
