Friday Photos.. Jungle! (DUW)

.. a jungle with a boa in it.

.
.. that giant fig tree is in my yard outside the boa-room.. it has just lost it's leaves and is putting out new.. Those big Peru boas love to crawl around out there.. normally it's too dark to get any (non-flash) photos under the canopy of that tree.
.
Nothing much beats the looks of a mature Peru redtail in top form.
.
Thanks for looking.

I've actually thought a lot of times that really nice peruvians DO have a jungle look to them... or maybe better.

great pics!

Very cool pictures. Do you ever have a hard time getting them out of the ficus?

Thanks!
.
The ones that will give me a hard time mostly stay in their cages!
.
.. but more seriously, the large boas only play at climbing and will come out when they are ready.. usually not too long.. and mostly want to go back inside.. no fuss.
.
I've had a couple of smaller things out there that moved like whipsnakes when they smelled something like home-range!
.
Be safe.

Gus, you always have great looking photos and I love the backgrounds you always employ. It's great to see "natural" looking pics... even if the flora isn't exactly of the type found in the animal's natural habitat.
