this is the one ive been asking questions about. He's probably like a day or two away from shedding so his color is real cloudy.
ill take a better one once he's done with shedding. the bottom is of the cage setup, nothing crazy but he enjoys it and thats all that counts.

If that substrate is cedar you should not keep your caliking on it. It will cause respiratory problems and can cause death. If you want wood shavings I would recommend you to use only aspen. By the way that is a nice little caliking.

no its not cedar heh i knew about that... is aspen the only thing you can use? or can you use like fir and the other ones that are out there besides cedar

I would definitely stay away from pine or cedar. Too dusty. I use aspen for display animals and newspaper for the rest. I don't know about fir actaully. A lot of people out there are now using "Carefresh" in their cages. I haven't broken down and bought any yet.

Sure wish I could see your pictures. How come others can and I can't? And I can't seem to fix it by doing the properties dealy as was suggested somewhere else sometime ago.
