I have had alot of emails wanting to know how they are turning out. These pics should give you a pretty good idea. The pics turned out pretty decent considering my skills with a camera!

I think this project is going to be alot of fun, just like Pieds I think they will vary some , I think that's a good thing!

Are mystic potions the super form of mystics?

Oops, sorry. I just saw below they are a cross between a mystic and a mojave. Very cool looking BTW.

No they are the cross with a Mystic and a Mojave. The Super Mystic hasn't been made just yet, I would say it will look alot like the darker one in the pics I just posted, maybe even a shade or two deeper in color than the darker one shown there.

In a nutshell these 2 little Potions proved that the Mystic isn't just a dark version of a Mojave and that it must be some type of phantom in order to make results that are so much like the Super Phantom/Purple Passions.

Actually at this point in the project I am more interested in knowing what the Crystal gene will do to the Mystic gene than I am worried about making a Super Mystic. I can actually just breed a Potion male to a female Mystic and make both Potions and Super Mystics in the same clutch. Once the 2 Supers are side by side I think it will be pretty easy to tell which is the Potion and which is the Super Mystic.
