Let me preface this by saying I am very much a live and let live kinda person. I believe what you do, especially on your property and in your own home is your own business.
What I find kinda at odds is the reptile folks (big and small names) who, in the normal course of events, are totally against the big chains like the Petco, Petland & Petsmart and call them puppy mills and say the have no idea about reptiles and the reptiles the sell are malnurished, dehydrated and abused. They say the chain stores manipulate native coutries to rape the wild populations then buy up all the snakes they can get their hands on to sell at bottom-dollar prices to morons who will mistreat and soon kill them here in the US. They also seem to portray the people who work in these places as young, brainless idiots who no NOthing about the reptiles they sell. These same people are suddenly very concerned about these chain stores going out of business because of the effects of HR669 and their staff of thousnads becoming unemployed morons.
Yes, politics does make for strange bedfellows.
