What is up with this "sorog" and other types of GTP's mentioned in threads below.
I think I'm in need of a GTP "lingo"/"background" sheet to go with that caresheet...
thanks!

That's the locality. Just how redtailed boas come from different locations, like Suriname, Peru, Columbia, etc. There are by no means hard and steady rules about how each locality will behave, the Arus and Sorongs seem to be generally thought of as the "calmer" localities, while Biaks seem to be one of the more snappy ones. I keep hearing mixed comments about the others.
Keep in mind that unless you have documentation regarding the origin of an animal, you can't really be sure where it's from. Especially as babies, it's practically impossible to tell the locality of an animal just by looking at it.
After doing insane amounts of reading about these awesome animals I think I've decided that ARU is what I'm really all about...
What do you all think I should look for if what I really want is a beautiful, solid, lime-green body with nothing but brillant white markings down the spine? Isn't that most of the ARU's? Who has the best one's of these?
Thanks
Any breeder you go to should have pictures of the parents in the listings. Your best chance is to go with a baby from 2 solid green parents. It isn't by any means a guarentee that that's how the babies will look, but it's by far your best shot.
If I remember correctly, Rob Worrell has some solid green parents (Neon comes to mind) with available babies for a good price.
