Alterna from Comstock

lbenton Apr 20, 2009 09:05 AM

I know back in the day people staying in comstock or hunting Juno while staying in Del Rio would find them, almost all DOR.

But I have to wonder who has actually done time looking for comstocks, and better yet did they find any?

I saw one in the classifieds once. It was a smoking light blairs, supposedly caught in the parking lot of the motel. I would love to find some on the cuts 1 mile east of town, for some reason I really like those cuts, I think it has to do with me finding a lepidus on them, my first trip west.

Lance,

I caught a couple alterna on the cuts west of town with James Gannon back in the early '90's. One was a screaming medium phase blairs with screaming orange that I kept for years. I also found a killer milksnake at Cow Creek. We used to hunt from Seminole Canyon to Comstock when Langtry was too crowded. I know Eric T has found a few on that stretch too....
